Product introduction

TZ-1010 is a halogen-free flame retardant with phosphorus and nitrogen as the main 

flame retardant. It is designed for PE, EVA, TPE and other polyolefin systems. It can 

also be used in other high end polyolefin flame retardant products. TZ-1010 contains

 acid source, gas source and carbon source. The flame retardancy is played by the

 mechanism of carbon and expansion. TZ-1010 does not contain ammonium polyphosphate, 

extrusion process without hydroplaning, higher thermal stability, dispersibility and flame 

retardant performance better, solid carbon flame retardant ability.

Matters needing attention

(1) the thermal decomposition temperature of TZ-1010 in nitrogen is 280 degrees. 

Therefore, the processing temperature of twin screw can be increased according to

 specific circumstances, so as to enhance dispersion and improve plasticizing effect.

 A few layers of screen can be added during the extrusion process. In the process 

of twin screw extruding, a certain degree of vacuum must be maintained.

(2) in the system, the substances that have adverse effects on flame retardancy

 include phthalocyanine green and other C1- containing toners, which will cause 

flame retardant failure. The use of carbon black will reduce the flame retardancy 

and increase the addition of flame retardants properly.

(3) TZ-1010 is acidic, when processing, please use the processing machinery with acid resistance.


Storage and use

1. TZ-1010 products are packed with aluminum and plastic, with a net weight of 20+0.2kg.

 Transport according to the general chemicals, stored in the dry and cool place, to avoid direct sunlight.

TZ-1010 products should be stored in a dry and ventilated storeroom. After long storage, 

the damaged products should be used at 90-110 degrees centigrade and dry for 2-4 hours.
