Principle of flame retardancy
The properties of the organophosphorus flame retardant DMMP material structure determine that it is very easy to mix well in the physical state with the polymer that needs to be added to the flame retardant. The products add organic phosphorus flame retardant DMMP when burning, DMMP is decomposed into phosphoric acid, metaphosphoric acid, polymetaphosphate, phosphate layer produced in the decomposition process, the formation of burning insulating protective layer covering the surface of the volatile combustion, blocking the heat conduction and oxygen supply, forced to stop the combustion; and because polymetaphosphate can to promote burning polymer decomposition carbonization, and produce a certain amount of water, thereby effectively prevent combustion. From the point of view of flame retardancy, DMMP is very effective for the combustion solid phase. DMMP combustion decomposition P2O5, carbon dioxide and water, no toxic gases, this is the special advantage of organic phosphorus flame retardant DMMP.
