Application: This product is made of special compound (active organic flame retardant / organic silicone) modified nano montmorillonite with flame retardant layer expansion, which belongs to the broad dispersing, can be widely used in all kinds of plastic polymer material, use it with organic or inorganic flame retardant with the use of conventional materials, to improve the flame retardancy and smoke suppression performance. To improve the material impact resistance, fatigue resistance, size stability and gas barrier, enhance the comprehensive physical properties of materials, can improve the processing performance, with carbon, difficult to ignite, anti dripping, smoke less, anti migration, excellent features such as low density.

Characteristic
Montmorillonite, the main component of montmorillonite, is composed of two layers of Si O tetrahedron and a layer of Al-O eight surface. It contains mainly sodium ions, magnesium ions, calcium ions, followed by potassium ions, lithium ions and so on. The organic modification of nano montmorillonite in order to come into layers: layer hydrophobic layer, so that the polymer and montmorillonite has better interface compatibility. Montmorillonite - the most commercial inorganic polymer thickener


Inorganic polymer thickeners generally have three layers of layered structure or an expanded lattice structure, and the two most commercial uses are montmorillonite and diopyroxite. The thickening mechanism of inorganic polymer is dispersed in water, the diffusion of metal ions from the wafer to the outside, with the hydration, it swells to the last piece of crystal separated completely transparent colloidal suspension which results in the formation of anionic lamellar structure crystal and metal ions. In this case, the crystal has a negative charge on the surface, and its edge angle has a small amount of positive charge due to the appearance of the lattice fracture surface. With the addition of the electrolyte and the increase of the concentration, the surface charge of the crystal decreases with the increase of the ionic concentration in the solution.  At this time, the main interaction changes from repulsive force between the lamellae and lamellar boundary between negatively charged surface angle of positive charge attraction, parallel lamellae perpendicular to cross linking together to form the so-called "box type structure of space", causing swelling produce gel so as to achieve the thickening effect. The further increase of ion concentration will destroy the flocculation of the structure and reduce the consistency. These thickeners are mainly used for the thickening of toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner, cream, emulsion and antiperspirant. The consistency increases rapidly with the increase of concentration and then tends to slow, and the rheological morphology is thixotropic. In addition to the thickening performance, there is a stable emulsion and suspension effect in the system. Its modifier is mainly quaternary ammonium salinization, after modification, it has an affinity for oil and can be used in a system with more oil content.
