FCA-107 DOW CORNING FCA-107 is an efficient silicone flame retardant additive. It is mainly used in the flame retardancy of thermoplastic plastics and specially made. FCA-107 flaky irregular solids, PC flame-retardant thin-walled products and sheets, have little effect on the transparency of PC resin. FCA-117 liquid PC flame-retardant thin wall products and sheets, and has little effect on the transparency of PC resin. It is suggested that the amount of addition be between 0.5%-5%.

The flame retardancy of the products can be effectively improved by the accelerated surface carbon formation of organosilicon molecules. The refractive index is similar to that of pure PC, and has little effect on the transparency of products. In 1, FCA-107 in addition to 0.5%-1.0%, the flame retardant properties of materials can be improved about 10% - 30% (for the increase of different materials, different) if FCA-107 alone can not reach the V0 level, and the flame retardant compound can be used together to achieve the V0 level, the main purpose of this product is added: a lot of flame retardant, by adding 0.5%-1.0% of the product, in the same flame retardant effect, adding flame retardant can reduce 10%-30% (improve mechanical properties), to assist the fire retardant effect.
2, FCA-107 can be used in combination with any kind of flame retardant system. If the halogen free flame retardant is needed, it is suggested that the flame retardancy of the sulfonate system is combined with the phosphate system. Combined with sulfonate flame retardant KSS for transparent PC flame retardancy, it can reach 1.6mm UL94V0. When mixed with TPP, PC/ABS can reach UL94V0, and it improves the impact strength of alloy compared with TPP alone. The addition of brominated flame retardant can reduce the amount of brominated flame retardant.
