Phenylphosphine aluminum flame retardant PADP is a white powder halogen free organic phosphorus halogen free flame retardant, and it is insoluble in water and organic solvents. It is suitable for halogen free flame retardant of PBT, PA plus fiber.

application
Aluminum phosphonate PADP flame retardant is mainly used in thermoplastic and thermosetting plastics. Because of its high phosphorus content, it has high flame retardancy efficiency.
Aluminum phosphonate flame retardant is especially suitable for polyester. It is suitable for glass fiber reinforced and non reinforced grades. The flame retardant polyester compound has good physical and electrical properties.
In addition to PBT, the addition of phenylphosphine aluminum flame retardant is 20% (weight). When the material is used as electrical accessories, it can reach UL 94 V-0 grading (thickness is 1.6-0.8 mm). In the addition of PET, the addition of 15% (weight) can reach the UL 94 V-0 classification. The addition of flame retardants will vary with the polymer grade, processing condition and glass fiber addition.
Treatment process, before adding phenylphosphonate aluminum flame retardant, generally dealing with polyester material pretreatment. If possible, the water content of material PBT and PET should be less than 0.05% and 0.005% (weight), respectively. The phenyl phosphine aluminonate flame retardant is not necessary to be dried in advance. If the moisture content of the flame retardant is very low, we recommend that it be dry in advance (for example, drying at 130 C for 3 hours).
General use of polyester powder and phenylphosphine aluminum flame retardant mixture and processing, can make it fully mixed. We must abide by the relevant domestic safety regulations.
The optimum mixing condition should be determined by different conditions. Attention must be made to ensure that all components are evenly dispersed, and the melting temperature of the polymer should not exceed 320 degrees C.
