Product introduction
Eight ammonium molybdate AOM is a highly effective smoke suppressant and flame retardant synergist. It is mainly used for traffic, cable, building materials and other stringent requirements for flame retardancy and smoke density in nylon and rubber fields, such as UL910 and ASTM E-84 standards. Typical applications include communication cables, vertical wiring cable sheath material, insulation material; the construction field of wall materials, interior decoration cushion; subway, high-speed rail and aircraft.
The product is white powder, soluble in ammonia and alkali solution. Dissolve 0.4g in 25oC (77oF) one hundred milliliter water.

Product application

AOM is a kind of plastic metal, which can be dispersed uniformly into organic polymer materials and integrated with polymer materials without affecting the mechanical properties of parent materials.
Small amount of use and low cost. The general use of a range of 2%~4% can show a significant effect.
It has good synergistic effect with other halogen free flame retardants. Synergy with MPP can make PA6 reach UL94V-0 flame retardancy level. Synergy with Cu2O can make PVC reach UL94V-0 flame retardancy level.
Test of the anti smoking effect of AOM on PP: PP smoke inhibitor MOM added 1%-4% smoke density from 478 to 204 data display. The addition of 1% MOM pure PP, the smoldering maximum smoke density can be reduced by more than 50%.
