Safety toxicity: APP is a non-toxic flame retardant, but because it is very fine powder, the protection measures should be paid attention to in processing.
Use: APP is mainly used in dilatant fire retardant coatings and polyamine ester hard bubbles, and can also be used for flame retardancy of fiber, wood and rubber products.  Because the product is high molecular weight (n > 1000) and high stability, it can also be used as the main active ingredient of intumescent flame retardant thermoplastic, especially for polypropylene made of electronic parts to reach UL94-V0.
