Product introduction
The name of DMDPB is 2,3- two methyl -2,3- two phenyl butane. Due to the particularity of its structure, the C C bond between the corresponding quaternary carbon atoms is not stable enough to dissociate and form free radicals. A free radical initiator with an unstable C - C bond is used as a free radical initiator, which is mainly used as a flame retardant and a crosslinking copolymerization catalyst. Compared with the general free radical initiators such as peroxide and azo compound, the stability is high and the use is safe.
The effect of the amount of DMDPB added on the tensile strength of the system is not very large. When the addition amount reaches 1.2, it can have good flame retardancy. Considering both tensile and flame retardancy and cost factors, the appropriate amount of DMDPB in the system can be determined from 1 to 2 copies. DMDPB has remarkable flame retardancy and synergistic effect. In the LDPE/Sb203/DBD- P0 (mass ratio) =100/5/3 system, adding 1 DMDPB can greatly improve the elongation at break, and at the same time, improve the flame retardancy and the oxygen index is 29.

Typical application
